Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I graduated high school with honors and a 3.75 GPA. I knew I wanted to do something art-related since I was little (I LOVE to draw!), so I decided to go into a graphic design program in college. I received my associate's degree after two years. Soon after, I started my first web design job at Overstock.com. During the 6.5 years I worked in the marketing department, I gained amazing experience and I met so many great people. I then was offered a web design position in the dental industry. For almost two years, I primarily designed and coded responsive emails at Ultradent, but also had opportunities to work on web layouts, product/campaign logos, and print ad concepts. From there I went to CLEARLINK where I continued to learn about marketing, designing for the web using UX principles, and work with talented people. I am now at MasterControl honing in on my UX design skills working on document software in an agile environment.
I am an outdoorsy person, where I enjoy riding dirt bikes and camping with my husband, 9-year-old son, almost 1-year-old daughter, and sweet yellow lab, Midas. I am a huge fan of DeLoreans (I own one!). I am always trying to better my introverted self by collaborating in groups with likeminded people, following talented people on social networks for inspiration, reading design articles and books, sketching, and traveling whenever I can. Up for a challenge and am happy to meet new people.
